The Vizsla is an extraordinary looking dog. It is also called simply a Magyar Vizsla, Vizsla, Hungarian Vizsla and Hungarian Pointer.
The Vizsla often lives between 9 - 15 years.
The Vizsla tends to cost in the region of £1000 (around £900 for a non-KC registered variety), so if you see Vizsla puppies for sale in a newspaper or online do keep this price in mind.
A Vizsla is usually around 58cm in height and generally weighs in at around 24kg.
Vizsla dogs are very easy to train with a high intelligence, are very good with children and require an enormous amount of exercise to stay satisfied. They can tolerate being alone for comparitively short periods of time.
Every dog while in a public place should wear a collar with the name and address of the owner inscribed on the collar or Dobermana plate or badge attached to it.
